Thammarat Normal

 "Normal" is my LGBTQ+ anthem celebrating the beauty of nonconformity and the life-altering power of self-expression. The lyrics depict my journey growing up gay and gender expansive, capturing the moments of joy, beauty, and defiance that come with existing outside heteronormative expectations. The story grew out of a poem I wrote in ninth grade about not feeling normal. This song reclaims my childhood insecurity, transforming my doubts into a message of radical love and acceptance. Even if you do not identify as queer, "Normal" is for you.
